July 17, 2003 I was flogged indoors in Ben Lomond, California by
Leatherback.

I was tied by the wrists to a whipping post.  Then my back was shaved 
both to allow the marks to more easily show up, and to increase my 
sensitivity to the pain of the lash.  

All lashes were laid on my back.
 
First formal set was 100 lashes laid on with an oil-tanned leather 
flogger.  These were laid on fairly rapidly.  My flogger would lay on
10 then switch sides and the next 10 would be with his backhand stroke,
and so on.

The second whip used was a homemade whip with tails made out of boot
laces.  This whip had a handle made out of part of an old golf club
handle, with 9 straight boot laces extending out as tails.  This whip
was more severe than the first and I receive another 100 strokes with
this one.  As with the first 10 strokes were delivered then he 
switched sides.

Following that another homemade whip was used for 20 lashes.  This whip
was made out of 1.75" rubber bicycle inner tube (thorn-resistant, so it
was quite heavy).

A knotted cat followed for 20 more lashes.  It's an 11 tail knotted cat, 
with a handle he made out of an old pepper grinder. 

Finally, I was finished off with 10 strokes with his plastic scourge,
which is a cutter and a stinger.  This whip left my upper back dotted
with small punctures and blood.

After I had received a total of 250 lashes on my bare back, I was taken 
down from the whipping post.

It was a very satisfying flogging.  The welts, cuts and bruises are 
very much evident several days later as is the pain and afterglow!
