June 10, 2003 I was flogged indoors in Moraga, California by Gary.

I was secured with leather cuffs attached to chains hanging 
from from the garage door opener.
 
My back was whipped with a prison cat o'nine tails, 12 lashes.  This cat
is made of cord and is a replica of what was really used in the British 
Army.  It was not as harsh as some cats I have taken, but it still 
delivered a fairly substantial punishment.

Following that, I took 12 lashes with a cat that I brought.  This is a
homemade prison cat with nylon tails, made by Leatherback and this was
used on my last in April.  This cat, though not a historical replica, was
far more vicious than the first one.

A final 12 lashes were administered by a brand new Naval cat from A&G, 
that has ¼" tails with whipped ends, and made of hemp.  This cat produced
more of a thud than the first two and hit me pretty hard.  However, it 
was not as painful a punishment as the previous (homemade) cat.  The
tails of hemp appeared to have more "give" than the less forgiving nylon
tails of the former.

One week later, on June 17, 2003, I was again flogged in Moraga by Gary.

This time I left my own cat at home and took 3 dozen (36) lashes with 
each of Gary's cats (British Army, and Naval).  

First 3 dozen were administered, without stopping, with the British Army
cat, the milder of the two.  After a glass of water was given to me, I 
took one dozen lashes with a 4' single-tail whip.  This actually had a
pretty good sting.

After another glass of water, I was given 36 lashes with the heavy Naval 
cat.

After 84 lashes, my back was pretty sore, but I felt good and it was a
very satisfying session!
