August 20, 2003 I was flogged indoors in the SF Bay Area California 
by Gary ( Yahoo ID=corppun66 ).

I was secured with leather cuffs attached to chains hanging 
from from the garage door opener.
 
First I was given 40 lashes with 4' single-tail whip on my back.

My back then was flogged with a prison cat o'nine tails, 40 lashes.  
This cat is made of cord and is a replica of what was really used in 
the British Army.  It was not as harsh as some cats I have taken, but 
it still delivered a fairly substantial punishment.

Following that, were 40 more lashes with a Naval cat from A&G, that 
has ¼" tails with whipped ends, and made of hemp.  This cat produced
quite a thud and hit me pretty hard. 

A final 40 was given with a homemade prison cat with nylon tails, made 
by Leatherback.  This cat, though not a historical replica, was by far
the most vicious whip used this session.

After 160 lashes, my back was incredibly sore and my back was red all 
over and deeply marked with welts.  I had some nice wraps on both 
sides.  The back has largely healed up 10 days later, but the wraps 
around the sides will probably be visible for several more days
beyond that.  Despite the intense pain, I felt a great sense of 
satisfaction, and for many days following I felt a high from the
experience.
